Don't think you can use keygen since you already reformatted your HD. If you have the original Win7 CD, you might want to call them and see if they'll generate a product key. They had to give me new ones since the ones that came with Win7 didn't work (go figure).

From the Bleeping Computer Rules:

No subject matter will be allowed whose purpose is to defeat existing copyright or security measures. If a user persists and/or the activity is obviously illegal the staff reserves the right to remove such content and/or ban the user. This would also mean encouraging the use or continued use of pirated software is not permitted, and subject to the same consequences.

Give Microsoft a call and let them know the situation: 1-866-740-1256

When the system asks you if you have the activation window open, answer "No" (you have to speak). When it asks if you have a "Volume License Agreement", answer "Yes" (even though it isn't true). You will be transferred to a real person. Explain to them that you reformatted but lost your product key. They should be able to get you straightened out.

Last time I had to do this, they asked me to repeat some of the product key.
