Hi, folks.

April 2nd, I began getting a myriad of pop-ups for an antivirus, saying that Windows Security was compromised and that I needed to purchase a product to rid myself of it. (Luckily, they misspelled a number of words on the fake. Smart.) At any rate, I shut down, ran in Safe Mode, ran MBAM, said it cleaned it, no problem. Restarted, and the popups are still there. I decided to come back to bleepingcomputer because of the excellent help I received last time I was here. (I know, you would think I learned my lesson the first time around.) As a heads up, random programs are telling me that they aren't valid W32 executables. ANY help is appreciated!

Running Windows XP, SP3. Can't provide screenshots, I'm actually using my iPod Touch to post this. >_>

Thanks,
Ataryn
