Hi there,

All of a sudden when I open Windows Media player 11, it immediately disappears. I

tried to uninstall/reinstall Windows Media Player 11 in add/remove and I got this :

It is not possible to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 because folders that are

required for the uninstall have already been deleted.

This was in the event viewer...

Application error
event ID: 1000

Faulting application wmplayer.exe, version 11.0.5721.5145, faulting module

indiv02.key, version 11.0.6000.6324, fault address 0x000f63f2.

any ideas how to remedy this situation?

Thank you so very much for your expert help:)

Try uninstalling media player by following this tutorial below. Then download a fresh copy and reinstall again.
