Browser Hijacked

Hi,

I have an issue on a machine which seems to be some sort of spyware/malware. When searching using any browser (tried chrome, firefox and ie) it will redirect you to a random page. Also you cannot hit any of the security sites i.e spybot search and destroy, windows defender etc.

I have downloaded windows defender and spybot search and destroy on another machine and transferred them to the faulting machine (also downloaded latest pattern files). These apps have run but to no avail, minor issues found only tracking cookies etc.

I have also tried a system restore but this has not removed the problem. Any assistance would be much appreciated, I have attached the gmer logs and dds logs.

Please note we are very busy, so if I don't hear from you within 5 days the topic will be closed, If you have since

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Note: If you already have Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, just update then run it.
  • Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan (the scan may take some time to finish, so please be patient).
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy and Paste the entire report in your next reply .
Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.


  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)


Then please post back here with the following:
  • MBAM log
  • log.txt
  • info.txt
