I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. Without any action taken on my part, emails were sent to everyone in my hotmail contact list. The emails that were generated said:

Hello,
Just finish my christmas shopping.
Here is a great suggestion for you www.bggstore.com.
Please take just a couple minutes to visit this shopping mall
covering all of the 2010 fashion styles!
Best regards

Do I have a virus? A friend suggested I had been infected with malware. I ran a full system scan with Spyware doctor and nothing at all was detected.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you!

Go to TrendMicro (http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/) and install HiJackThis. Run a scan and post the log here and people should be able to help.

I'm having the exact same problem, I'll let you know if I find anything out. =)

If Gmer won't run, skip it and move on.
Let me know if that went well.
