I have been trying to remove the about:blank virus and xp internet security virus from my computer to no avail. I have anti malbytes, mcafee, superspy remover, ccleaner and hijack this on the computer. I run a few of them and certain problems are found and cleaned, but when I surf the internet I am redirecting to these other search sites and the viruses always come back.

Any suggestions?

Hello let's try this way.

Run FixExe.reg
When Windows prompts whether or not you want to allow the data to be added to your computer, click on the Yes button.

Rerun MBAM (MalwareBytes) like this:

Open MBAM in normal mode and click Update tab, select Check for Updates, when done
click Scanner tab, select Quick scan and scan (normal mode).
After scan click Remove Selected, Post new scan log and Reboot into normal mode.

ALSO run this if needed. How To Remove About:blank
How are things now?
