Hey, check this out:

I've been a Nintendo fan forever, but I'm not so sure any more...

Any comments from the peanut gallery? (I'll post more when I get my homework done )

It only seems like the Big N is going for the "gimmick" crowd again. Their new controller doesn't seem to have very many strengths to be applied to "normal" games, such as sports/fighting/rpg genres.

I smell another "virtual boy".......

Yeah, one of my friends compared it to the Virtual Boy, too.

I don't see how it will be applied to normal games, either, but that control stick attachment could help a bit... It will be weird to have it backward-compatible with all the other Nintendo games with a controller that's not even similar.

I heard that there will be a Super Smash Bros. game out upon release, and I can't see how that controller will be able to play it.

I think I'll stick with XBOX for a while

I'm not a console guy at all, but I do use a game controller on my computer and I've only got one thing to say:

What took them so long!?! This is at least a small step closer to the kind of controller I've been praying for for years.
