Need Help ! Inside Task Manager I deleted a Process called Avi.exe or something similar that I thought was related to a Virus & now I can't open over half of my programs.

While in task manager, I had received this message:

Warning: terminating this process can cause undesired results including loss of data, and system instability. The process will not be given a chance to save it's state. Are you sure you want to terminate the process

However, since I was so tired of virus's attacking my computer recently, I deleted it anyway. when I rebooted my computer, I had my volume on Mute.
When I went to turn on the Volume or anything related to Audio Devices, in the Control Panel, I received a message which says,

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe Application not found !

If I click Add or Remove programs I get this same message:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe Application not found !

If I to to Appearances and Themes & click Change desktop background, I get this same message:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe Application not found !

When I go to open up a number of programs off my Start Menu, I get a message that says:

Open With

Choose the program from a list that you want to use to open your file:

Then the list op programs are basic ones like

Firefox
Internet Explorer (which I now can't open)
Wordpad, Notepad
AOL,
Windows Media Player
Paint

All basic programs that cannot open most of these things.

If there is anyone who knows on How I can Fix this,
I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
