Safe Mode

I used msconfig to boot windows xp in safe mode with minimal(alternate shell) ans now i cant boot back to windows plz help. Another problem i have is that in safe mode all i get is a black screen that says safe mode and version of windows on top. Theres no GUI just that black screen. plz help

Boot to Safe mode and press Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up Task Manager. Under the Applications tab click New Task. Type in msconfig and click Ok. Reverse the change you made and reboot.
