I have also posted this problem to the Mozilla forum, but I find the advice given at this forum more helpful, easier to understand.

Ever since I upgraded to the latest version of Thunderbird 3.0.4, I am unable to open .jpg picture attachments.

Prior to this I was always given the option of viewing pictures thru Windows Media+Fax Viewer. I can't seem to find this option anymore.

Can you direct me to the appropriate place to look for this program, or at least one similar capable of viewing any picture type sent via email?

Thank you

Good news

There is no "inline attachment". The image is can be send either "inline" (you can see it straight in message's body), or as an attachment.
