I have an 11/08 laptop, and a few months ago I upgraded to Windows 7. I prefer Firefox as my browser and Goodsearch, powered by Google, as my default search engine. (Goodsearch pays roughly a penny a search to the charity of your choice, which in my case adds up fast.)

I prefer my own homepage (www.extremelysmart.com), and set it as my default every time I have to.

Several times now -- three to five -- Bing has "taken over" and made itself my default search engine. And four times so far, Kiwee has "taken over" and made itself my home page. Each time, I have to patiently go back and say, NO, I do NOT want Kiwee as my home page, and reset my home page, AGAIN.

So my question is dual. (a) How do I persuade Bing, and especially Kiwee, that I never want to see either one of them ever ever EVER again? ( Is there anyway of resetting my "Restore to Default" home page? As near as I can make out, Firefox prefers its own home page as "Restore to Default." But I don't WANT Firefox, and I ESPECIALLY don't want Kiwee?
