My old screen broke and i dont want to pay a lot of money for a new one.

I dont know where to look for one, (ive tried ebay)

and do i need to get the same model as my presario R 3000?

Well Linda I would advise using the recommended parts for your laptop.

I really tried hard to locate a good web site for you for parts, but then I realized a price I'd find fair might be too much for your budget.

I did a Google search and came up with over 227,540 Hits (amazing!) for the key words laptop parts

I would suggest you try your own search engine and check out the various web sites available and do price comparisons, then decide what's best for you.

how do i know if the sites are legit? i dont want to pay then get nothing.
