My copy of Internet Explorer 8 became corrupt and will not work properly. I tried to download IE8 from the web and reinstall, but when I click to execute the file, I get a message that says the install cannot continue because I have a more recent version of IE on my computer. Is there a way to uninstall a bad copy of IE so I can install a good one? I am using Firefox now, which I quite like, but I still need IE for certain applications.
