Hi everyone....I am desperate and this is such a headache for me. I have what I think is the Windows Securty Virus, where windows keep poping up saying I have a virus and it "scans" my computer...

The big issue I am having is I had Malwarebytes on my computer before (updated a few months ago) and rKill on my computer...rKill was from late 2009 and did not stop the virus from running on my computer...I was able to download a newer updated version of rKill and it worked. I am now able to install Malwarebyes (the march updated one) on my computer in safe mode but when it goes to launch I get an error saying

"Unable to execute file:
c:\program files\malwarebytes' anti-malware\mbam.exe

createprocess failed; code 2.
the system cannot find the file specified."

If I double click on the icon on my desktop is just "searches" my computer...I'm not sure what to do...

**Update**

I downloaded another mbam file renamed it "explorer.exe" and am running a quick scan as I type
