Ever since the recent Firefox 3.6.2 upgrade to latest browser I've been having same problem.
Firefox will not open. If I shut-down the pc and restart, it will then open. '
IE opens fast.
Went to Mozilla site, ho help there. Others are having the problem, but Mozilla does not have a solution.
Zone Alarm is set to allow Firefox.
For months prior to this, Firefox opened every time, though never as fast as IE.

I deleted all of Firefox from pc, then cleaned the registry, restarted and then downloaded a clean copy of ver 3.6.2. Still having the problem.
