cant change screen resolution

I am on a friends computer that is running windows ME. They cant change the screen resolution from 640x480. I have tried to go into the desktop settings and adjust the screen resolution. The slider wont move move off of 640 x 480. any suggestions would be great.

You will need to go to the Device Manager and reinstall the Video Drivers.
Device Manager:
Right Click My Computer>Properties>Device Manager Tab>Click the + by Display Adapter>Double Click the Dispay Adapter>Driver Tab> Reinstall the Drivers
