G'day everybody - I'm a newbie to forums so hope I can observe all the protocols. I have been using computers for almost 10 years and sometimes manage to stumble around the problems that arise ("so why did it do that" sort of thing) but quite often I am left shrugging my shoulders, scratching my head and otherwise totally mystified (and frustrated) by the antics of this incredible "thing" that I couldn't live without.

I look forward to lots of interaction with like minded folk and hopefully a few explanations for the problems I encounter along the way.

Hello lofty1956 and  to Bleeping Computer.

Please take a few moments to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the forum works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There is a lot of very useful information there.

Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
