Hi this is my first topic and i dont know what i need write so please bear with me.

So the problem im having is i have somehow managed to get a trojan its full name is trojan Pakes.AV
I am running on windows vista with AVG anti virus.

It has caused me alot of problems of which i will list below :

Firstly when i go onto a search engine in internet explorer i will more times than not get thrown to a completely random webpage when i try to click one of the search links

Secondly AVG tells me constantly that a trojan has been found but it wont do anything about it ! (I am now wondering if AVG is not a very good anti virus and if i should get another one any advice that please let me know).

Thirdly my computer randomly crashs onto this page with a blue background which looks very technical and goes very quickly so i dont have a chance to note down what it says all i can make out is "crash log".

Lastly my computer is runnning extreamly slow.

That is all i can think of at the moment the best thing i can say is if you need any info to help me tell me what it is and how to get it.

I really apprecaite any help or advice on this.

Thanks in advance,

Louise.
