hi i got windows 7 and ubunut on a dual boot i want to get rid of ubunut and remove it , how do i do this please help me
also i want to get rid of the grub as well thanks :huh:

that link u gave me says its help remove ubuntu if i insatlled it with wubi but i havent i did it on a seprate partion please help me thanks

Just reformat the partition and load up the recovery console and type in fixmbr

Incorrect. Read carefully...

Everyone who uses Ubuntu knows how to remove Ubuntu when you installed it with wubi. But sometimes it's hard to remove (uninstall) Ubuntu when you installed it in separate partition (without wubi).

The tutorial is for when it's installed on a separate partition, as it is simple to uninstall using Wubi. :huh:

thanks but how do i go

after selecting repair>cmd prompt,

when i enter my cd and click boot from cd

it says windows laoding files , then lanugae and key board then

i get some screen and when i try to click next it says error and its doesnt let me

Gooday Balkrish999. Are you Balkan or Irish." Insert laughter bubble here." I refuse to do LoL. Mate, download "parted magic" and burn it to a disk. Stick the disc in the drive and restart the machine. Follow the prompts to get to a point where you can see your partitions. Windows will be on NTFS and Ubuntu will be on ext3 or ext4 partitions and there will be a swap partition. You will be pretty safe to select and delete ext3 and/or ext4 and swap. OBVIOUSLY you would have backed everything up before you start any operation involving your partitions.

i know how to delte the partion but i have this problem
