Hello All-

My daughter pointed me to Bleeping Computer, when she told me I should come here to download Combofix. Still haven't managed to do that successfully, but I enjoyed so much of what I read here that I decided to register. Hope to learn a lot over time about defending and maintaining my computer.

Thanks for all the great info.

Hello snowbirdarts and  to Bleeping Computer. Oh please do be careful with that ComboFix. Why do you need to download it? If you are having a Malware problem, please consider posting here in the Am I Infected? What do I do? forum first, before running ComboFix. That tool should only ever be used under expert supervision. I would strongly advise getting expert help and finding out if it is really necessary to run it.

Please take a few moments to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the forum works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There is a lot of very useful information there.
