I have not been able to install my printer since I got it back from HP.
It has had a complete system restore.
I was able to use this Compaq IJ750 printer before the restore (yes, I know it's old but I don't use it much).
The help & support area on HP's website does not show my operating system XP as compatible with the Compaq IJ750.
I have tried to reinstall with the printers driver disc but that didn't work.
HP support recommends not using the disc but to use the add printer wizard.
I have done that several times today. It looks fine, says it is installed but I get an error message when it tries to print the test page.
