My HP Mini just started doing this when you turn it on it goes through boot up process and actually shows the XP logo then turns to a black screen. i think it may have something to do with my resouliton cause i changed it to install blackberry desktop manager. i have tried a few trick that i have read in the nets but nothing has worked any idea would be helpfull

try f-8 to get to the screen where you choose safe mode, etc.... Changes to the resolution in safe mode won't keep through a reboot but you can choose "vga" mode from the same screen and your changes will be saved.

A mini has some odd resolutions so the vga screen might look really funny.
