Okay Boop ya lost me for a sec! Yes there was that error code when I downloaded the cleanup. I understand how to make a new folder on my desktop, but you lost me after that! Not sure how to open and find what you want in Incredimail. the only place it shows up is in add remove. Can you walk me through the rest of that? TIA
My soon to be son in law is from Illinois and he had us pizzas flown in so that we could taste "real" pizza! Gotta tell ya, I didn't love it hehehehe!

Hi, sorry,I explain things sometimes just to save a second post (new folder).
Let's check for Inc mail files. I want to see if there are others.

Click Start, and then click Search.
In the Search Companion dialog box, click All files and folders.
Type Incredimail.
In the Look in box, click the drive
Click Search.

OK good.. Since MBAM ugraded their whole app yesterday,I want to rescan next. How are things running now ?
after the Scan try running the Windows update.

Rerun MBAM (MalwareBytes) like this:

Open MBAM in normal mode and click Update tab, select Check for Updates, when done
click Scanner tab, select Quick scan and scan (normal mode).
After scan click Remove Selected, Post new scan log and Reboot into normal mode.

Hiya, Dial a Fix usually repirs these update issues.

We need to repair some of windows' internal registration settings
  • Please download Dial-A-Fix from one of the following mirrors:
  • Extract the zip file to your desktop.
  • Double click Dial-a-Fix.exe to start the program.
  • Press the green double checkmark box (Looks like this: Posted Image)
  • UNcheck "Empty Temp Folders", as well as "Adjust Time/Date" in the prep section. The prep section should then look like this:
    Posted Image
  • When the window looks like this, press the GO button in the bottom of the window.
    Posted Image
  • Exit/Close Dial-A-Fix

Error 127: C\WINDOWS\system32\jesetup.dll is not reisterable or the file is corrupted. Your version of iesetup.dll is 8.00.6001.18702. Please contact dial-a-fix@DjLizard.net so that an exception can be made for your version of this file.

Hoping you can translate lol!

Arrgghhh!!,I just LOVE Dell

Either we send an email to dial-a-fix@DjLizard.net
with the error and a request for the exception for your version of this file.

Either way will be a day or two,,
Or we will post a New topic in OUR DDS forum and see what the heck is causing alll this uneeded complication..
I am amazed that this has become this crazy :flowers:

For the latter.. Please go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9 and not here, thanks.
Skip GMER...
Let me know if that went well.

Hey thanks. I added a link back here.. I just can't find this so I am learning something here too.

Log looks good there. I will close this. You can always PM me.. :flowers:

Now that your log is properly posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a Malware Removal Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the Malware Removal Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the Malware Removal Team members are very busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the Malware Removal Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic.
