My boss has a computer with Windows 2000 Pro SP4. He wants to update Internet Explorer to version 7 or 8.

I can't seem to find that there is an update for Win 2k to either Explorer 7 or 8.

Am I just not looking in the right places or do they not have an upgrade to IE 7 or 8 for Win 2k?

Thanks,
Paul

Thanks for the reply.

When I try to download IE 7 it asks for my OS. Would it hurt to download the XP version and install that on Win 2k ?

Thanks,

You could try but I doubt it will work. I would back up the computer before I tried something like that also.

You could always switch to firefox......
