hi all, i just want to throw this out there... just in case if someone has a similar problem as mine...
For the past few weeks my firefox has been acting funny, it's not directing me to the correct websites when i click on the hyperlinks, even if i manually input the address in the address bar, it sometimes directs me to other websites which are not at all related to the link....
I am using AVG, spybot search and destroy, and malwarebytes.
Upon startup, when i check on the task manager, there will always be two firefox already open, even though i haven't clicked on anything yet...(but the firfox windows are not displayed).

any suggestions?

running xp pro sp3
and i'm a noob so please bear with me...

Hello there, I am moving this topic to the Am I Infected forum.

Please read and follow all these instructions very carefully.
  • Please download GooredFix and save it to your Desktop.
  • Double-click GooredFix.exe to run it.
  • A log will open, please post the contents of that log in your next reply (it can also be found on your desktop, called Goored.txt).

regards, Elise
