I am not able to install windows 98 se on my pentium 4, 1.6ghz, 128mb ram, via motherboard system.

When i start my computer using bootable windows 98 cd and while it is performing the desired tasks and during this process, some error messages poped up like Suwin caused an error, or it will not perform the setup tasks and automatically comes out of setup. And sometimes computer restart itself.

Plz tell the solution...or what might be the problem.

If you were running Windows 2000 or XP you will have to format the drive to FAT32. The same if Linux was on th drive.
