Mozilla has confirmed a critical vulnerability in Firefox 3.6. Although Mozilla developers has patched the vulnerability and the patch would be released in version 3.6.2, yet they are still in the quality testing phase. The version 3.6.2 would be officially released on 30th March, 2010.

What you can do before 30th March, 2010 :
You can download the RC version of Firefox 3.6.2 (which contains the patch) from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir...didates/build3/
Windows users will find the setup program inside the win32 folder.

Update :
Mozilla has accelerated its timetable and released Firefox 3.6.2 ahead of schedule. Previously, version 3.6.2 was to be released on 30th March, 2010. If you do not get the update prompt by Mozilla Firefox, you can download the new version by visiting http://www.mozilla.com/
