Hi all,

I am a webmaster and have numerous websites on the wordpress platform.

I seem to be constantly getting hacked with malware on my sites by what I presume are bots.

I have spoken to the host on numerous occasions and they say it is probably a local infection which is grabbing my FTP details and gaining entry from there. I was initially using Filezilla as my FTP client until I found it stores passwords locally (unencrypted) and moved to WinSCP which I read was better?

Anyway, I have since been hacked again and its beginning to really get to me. I have regularly run Malwarebytes and Nod32 (weekly) and it has never come up with anything substantial.

Has anyone got any ideas or recommendations?

Regards,

Hello and welcome. I suspect something a bit meaner like a rootkit.

We need a deeper look, please go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic from step 9.
If Gmer won't run, skip it and move on.
Let me know if that went well.
