I have an app that i use called GreenPrint World. its designed to help me save printer ink and paper, by removing any excess pages from printouts (ever get a printout and the last page is just one line of text?). This is mainly from printouts from websites.

So, lately i have been having a problem with 2 sided printing. First off, i do not want it. Everyday printing i want on just single side.

I get this message, printed on a paper with a giant arrow:

"Reload entire stack of pages, with the printed side facing away from you and the arrow pointing down."

I have turned off duplex printing (which is the same as double sided right?), and i think GreenPrint keeps overriding my settings. All i have to do is click continue on the screen and it will still printout single sides. By doing this i have now a wasted extra sheet of paper, and the ink as well used to print that message.

Now, i use this to save ink and paper, and if i keep getting this printout page, i might stop using it, since it defeats what i want to do.

I have a Dell all-in-one Photo 926 Printer, running with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

Anyone out there use GreenPrint World, or have problems with it?

I don't have that program. However, I have a Firefox extension called Aardvark that also helps cut down on paper by allowing you to delete content from webpages. There is also a bookmarklet version that works with IE and Safari.

You can read more about it here: http://karmatics.com/aardvark/ if interested.
