Well, here I am! Saw this website listed in a computer mag, thought...Boy! I could use something like this, Bleeping computer is an apt name, I've sure said it enough. My computer usage is pretty well confined to PC gaming (Morrowind being my all time favorite) most comp games are pretty much the same, but thats a gripe for another forum. I've built two computers so far, one is Windows XP, the other has Windows ME for an operating system (the reason for this again is another story) Anyway, we have another computer in the house (our 1st one) which is a MAC OSX which my wife bought (she hates Bill Gates) so I've got experience in two systems. Building the first computer wasn't too bad, aside from the hassle of registering with Microsoft (XP) Although I didn't get to stuff it with the AGP and Audio cards I really wanted due to money constraints it works fine and its the one I use. The second computer was a nightmare, and some of my first questions will be dealing with problems I'm still having with it. I had to deal with defective parts, strange behavior and Windows ME install problems I'm still not sure are straightened out. Two years ago I didn't know a damn thing about computers, but now I'm not afraid to do things that scare others to death. I'll be watching the forum, and be glad to offer my two cents worth to anybody's problems that look familiar....Later, roadbum

Isn't it amazing how much one can learn in two years? And, as complex as computing has become, there is still much to learn. Members of this user community support one another by sharing areas of expertise and experience, so hopefully you can get and give help.
Welcome to BC!
