hello my computer has slowed a lot lately with cpu usage going to 100% for no reason. have run avg virus check and spybot and microsoft antispyware checks with nothing showing up, so thought i should post i hijackthis log file. here it is:

Hello BalrogofMoria and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. After reviewing the HijackThis log I see no signs of viruses or malware at this time. The log is clean.

System slowdowns can be caused by any number of things. Sometimes it's malware and other times it is just a running process on the machine that is stuck. Since this does not appear to be malware related I would suggest posting a question in the Windows XP forum and see what they have to say.
