I have contracted Dr Guard and I'm struggling to remove it. I've tried following the guide on here and managed to run rkill ok. I then downloaded mbam-setup but when I click on run nothing happens.

According to the guide it should start to install and I should then follow the on screen instructions. Unfortunately it doesn't install so there are no instructions and I'm not sure what to do next. Help! Any suggestions please?

After following that guide post back the scan log and let us know how it is running,

The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply. Be sure to post the complete log to include the top portion which shows MBAM's database version and your operating system.
