I have an HP Photosmart c4200 installed on the computer in my living room. I'm trying to make it so that my brother can print files to it from his computer. His computer is on a network with the living room one. (Running Vista btw)
I enabled printer sharing on the printer in the living room, and made sure that it is being shared. Then I went on my brother's computer and went into Control Panel>Printers>Add a Printer> and the Photosmart showed up under 'Select a Printer' after clicking that the type of printer I wanted to add was a network one. So I clicked the Photosmart printer, a window popped up saying that it was connecting, and then another asking whether it was ok to download the drivers, to which I clicked yes. But then every time I keep getting the same error message 'Windows cannot connect to the printer. Operation cannot be completed (error 0x000003eb).

Does anyone know how I can fix this or what I'm doing wrong? Thanks a lot.
