I hope someone can help.

Our main home pc seems to be infected with the above - whenever we open a browser all the links are hijacked and you get taken to either an 'antivirus' site or pharmacy sales etc. I have tried to download dds etc, but the browser window just displays an error message to say page cannot be displayed.

Similarly, I cannot update Microsoft security essentials (error code 0x80240022) or malwarebytes (error code 732).

MSE has detected Koobface, and deleted it - run a new scan and it now doesn't appear - none of the registry files seem to be there that traditionally relate to this?

Malwarebytes picked up Vundo, and again claims to have deleted it?

I ideas where to turn to next?

Thank you in anticipation.
