Can't burn CDs

Please help!

I'm having serious problems trying to burn CDs.

I've tried setting the IDE controller between DMA and PIO, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling Nero, forced ASPI, closing down other programs, choosing a slower speed but with no joy.

This may sound nubie,does my computer read CD in the drive (F:)Extent of knowledge? :thumbsup:

Yeah, it's listed as DVD/CD-RW Drive (D:) and the Recording tab in Properties is there so it recognises it as a recording device. Reading the CD isn't a problem, only burning.
