I am running XP Home Edition SP3 on a Pentium 4 3.00 GHz with 1 GB RAM. It is running extremely slow and the hard drive light is on most of the time. All of my definitions are up to date, I pared down the startup list. I ran Western Digital's diagnostics on the drive and it passed. I have run chkdsk and defrag with no improvement. I have run Malwarebyte, Spybot, full scan with Norton Internet Security (unfortunately), Blacklight, SuperAntSpyware and Kaspersky Online Scanner. All came up clean. Does anyone have other suggestions? Thanks.
