Ok, First of all i want to thank you for the help. I found you guys yesterday and I used the rkill to stop the virus and then used a link I found to uninstall the "personal security" from my DT, but after I did now I have a new icon on the toolbar at the bottom. It kindo looks like a little castle and is called windows defender, is this a different virus?

I havent restarted the DT yet, so I am just not sure what to do now.

One other thing, I didnt follow the link to down load the scanner from the pages on your site, as I was looking at my LT, and working on my DT. When I downloaded the scanner the pages looked different from what was being shown on your forum. But I think it did the trick (I hope!).

I was using AVG securtiy, but It went out of date....is there a security software you would recommend? that is free, and wont bog me down?
