I have Internet Explorer 8 on my windows XP computer. I donít like to update my computer with anything because sometimes the update messes things up rather than help it. What exactly I be missing if I donít update to Internet Explorer 9? Thank you very much. Murrar

Moot for XP users...there will be no IE 9 for XP.

"Microsoft said it is committed to providing software upgrades to Internet Explorer 9 every eight weeks. It also said it would not be developing a version of IE9 for Windows XP computers."

From This Source.

FWIW: It's a bad sign when a website advertises an "IE 9 download" and you cannot find such at the Microsoft website. Lots of users may be getting fooled.
