Hey Guys. I'm having problems with web pages hanging up. My AVG free 9.0 updated last night and it seemed to get worse. I can get on most any site but clicking on another page or link won't work most of the time. The new page seems to hang and won't completely load. I can go back and then try again and sometimes it will work and sometimes not. I assumed that since the AVG updated that that was the problem. So I disabled it but that didn't help. I've tried bothe IE and Firefox. In fact Firefox is worse than IE. It won't hardly open at all. Should I uninstall AVG and start over or is it something else, firewall perhaps?? I have Zone Alarm free. Also some sites lately keep telling me that there is a Windows security add-on problem, but doesn't specify. Thanks in advance. I'll check back soon.

Uninstall AVG, using AVG Remover: http://www.avg.com/us-en/download-tools
If it'll help, we'll get you different AV program.

Well it was definitely the AVG. Works great now. I could barely get back on here to see a response. I downloaded Avast. Everything seems to be ok now. Thanks for your help.
