My computer seems to be running much slower these days and am not sure why. I have run an Adware and a Spybot S&D scan, along with my normal Norton Internet Security regular scans and have come up with nothing abnormal. Is there anything you guys can spot in this logfile that is I should be concerned with? I am by no means a computer expert, but it all looked pretty innocent to me.

Thank you for the help,
Charger1

Hi charger1. I don't see any problems in the log. Everything is clean there.

Sometimes those security suites can cause performance problems. You might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling Norton. If the problem persists then I would suggest posting a question in the Windows XP forum and see what they have to say.

Cheers.

Thank you OldTimer, I can rest easier knowing that my comp is relatively healthy. Thanks for the advice concerning Norton Internet Security, I have been hearing some comments lately about problems others have been having also. Maybe time to switch to another form of comp protection.

Thanks again,

Charger1

You're very welcome charger1. I'm glad that we could help.

Now that we have ruled out any malware related issues I will close this topic. If you have any new issues in the future then please start a new topic.

Cheers.

Keep on computing!
