I am currently running XP Home with Office 2000. I would like to upgrade to Office 2007. Can I get a software upgrade or do I purchase a Office 2007 Professional package? Also, can I install this over my current 2000 application and retain all email and documents in the upgrade?

Thanks,

In answer to your 2nd question:

I do not see where they offer an upgrade version

Yes, I am confused about the "upgrade version" thing. Some places a I see called the Office 2007 package an upgrade and some do not. The upgrade sellers indicate that you must have Office or Works software installed prior to upgrade.

When upgrading from Microsoft Office 2000 or Office XP to the 2007 release you will have to make sure that your hardware and operating system meet the minimum 2007 Microsoft Office system requirements.

That quote tells me you can upgrade from 2000 to 2007.
