I HAVE AN HP COMPUTER XP SYSTEM AND AN HP PRINTER AND I HIT MY PRINT SCREEN KEY AND IT INSTANTLY PRINTS THE SCREEN. IT USES "HP PRINT SCREEN VERSION 1.0). NOW, mY PROBLEM IS THAT I ALSO HAVE AN HP WHICH IS VISTA WITH AN HP PRINTER AND I CAN ONLY USE THE PRINT SCREEN KEY TO COPY AND THEN HAVE TO OPEN A PROGRAM TO PASTE IT INTO AND THEN PRINT. HOW CAN I GET MY 2ND COMPUTER TO DO WHAT THE 1ST ONE DOES?
I DIDNT KNOW WHAT KIND OF TOPIC THIS WOULD FALL UNDER. pRINTER OR COMPUTER OR SYSTEM.

EDIT: Moved to External Hardware-MG

GRDEETTE,

Please don't use Caps Lock.
There's 2 reasons for this:
1. It makes your post hard to read.
2.(and, most important) On forums, using all capital letters, is considered screaming/yelling. A lot of people are really touchy about this, and will not respond to a post using all caps. I'd hate to see you not get the help you need, because of a simple breech of forum etiquette.

1. What is the model number of the printer?
The one connected to the Vista computer

2. On the left side of your keyboard is a key marked Caps Lock
Please click on it

Shouting is rude

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Sorry, we had no idea that caps were considered as rude or screaming. The printer is a model: officejet 6310xi all in one. Thanks
