I did not download anything or open an file, and I'm not even sure this is a virus or a trojan. Suddenly, I began to have firefox problems. It started out with firefox just hanging after 1 minute of use. Then after a few minutes, firefox would crash, and it would not open again until I ended the process from the task manager. Every time I opened it again, it would begin to hang after a minute then crash suddenly. At this point my IE was still working fine. I downloaded google chrome and imported all my firefox stuff and it never worked even for a second. As soon as google chrome opened up, it went to the aw, snap page after displaying the page for half a second. I downloaded IE 8 and imported all my firefox stuff, and my IE started to hang. I updated super antispyware, adaware, and malwarebyte's and scanned with all three. It didn't fix the problem. I did a system restore to two days before I had the problem and after that my firefox will not even start up when I click on the icon. My IE will open for a split second then close itself. I scanned with hijack this and in the list that came up after the scan, I "fixed" everything on the list aside from Dell wireless Wlan tray service and I8fanGUI which is a fan monitoring program for my laptop. Safe mode with networking and I have the same issues. Plain safe mode my IE will open but of course, can't go anywhere. I am doing this from a seperate computer.
I managed to transfer this over from a USB drive
