For the last 4 days I think, I've been getting this very annoying refreshing of my window. I can't really think of a better word to use than that, even though is is probably not correct. Basically, what I am getting is that every now and then, whichever window I have selected will disappear for a split second, showing whatever would be behind it, then appear again, and move the window in the task bar to the end(right). I first started to notice it when playing World of Warcraft, because it would keep whatever button I had pressed down, even if I released it during the split second when it refreshed eg. I would keep running when pressing nothing. However I then noticed it even more when it began to do it when I was playing with photoshop, and even now it is doing it with Firefox open.

When I first thought that it was only related to WoW I repaired it, and removed any addons, however that did nothing. Then when I found out that it was to do with other applications too I did a defrag of my drives, and an anti-virus and spyware scan using ESET Smart Security. However I am still having the same problem, and it is getting rather irritating. I'm running on Windows 7 Pro 64bit if that is on any help.

Has anybody heard of this problem, or know how to fix it? I don't recall changing anything before it started happening, so I am really at a loss as to what to do.

Thanks

If all your scans are clean,I think it a software issue and either do a System Restore to a date prior to the issue or a Reinstall.

If you do the first you will need to rescan for malware and re update your system.

Also you can start a topic in the WIN 7 forum.
