Two days ago, I got a virus infection called Backdoor.tidserv!inf. I have symantec antivirus, and popups came up from auto-protect scan saying that i had the virus but it couldn't do anything. I tried scanning with malwarebyte's antimalware and superantispyware, but after i reboot, nothing comes up. Also, when I scan again, only 1 thing comes up on MBAM, and I have to reboot to delete it. After it's gone, I reboot, the popups from symantec antivirus come back and when i scan with MBAM, the same infection is there. Also, the system restore is infected with backdoor, as it didnt work when i tried it.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I am running Windows XP, however I'm using another computer to post this.

Edit2: Also, the file specified by symantec antivirus was atapi.sys, so if anyone knows if it's a false positive or something, please let me know. Thanks.
