I am trying to restore my system on Windows Vista Business 2007. The restore points that appear are dated yesterday 3-8-2010. How do I find older restore points? I would like to restore my computer to at least June 2009. Thanks for your help!

System Restore will restore your computers program and registry settings but does not change your documents or data.

If you are trying to get older data and documents from June 2009 the best thing that could help you is a previous backup of your data. System restore will not help you in that respect.

To see restore points older than 5 days put a check mark in the box as shown in the image above.

I just double checked and my system doesn't have one of those boxes that says "Show restore points older than 5 days".

If you do not have the box to check, then you only have a very few restore points.

And you most certainly do not have any dating back to june 2009.

Sorry for the bad news.

I'm very sad to hear that, but at least now I know. Thanks for your help!
