Been working on computers since 1969. First PC 1977/78 - Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I S/N 3012, so I've been doing this for awhile.
Other than a tractor Forum, and a Steve Bass group, this would be my first computer based forum.
With 4 kids, a lot of my PC time is debugging 'stuff'.
Felt it was time to hook up with others who are still excited about computers.
I work on Big Blues - COBOL/CICS during the day using a PC interface, so I'm getting numb and a little brain dead.
College BS in 1974, some Grad work Computer Science, no degree.
Currently running on a 2002 Dell Dimension 8200 = XP.
Also have 6 laptops spread around the family = all wireless into a DSL.
That's about it for now

Nothing wrong with COBOL.
Thanks for joining, and welcome to BC!
