Accidentaly deleted rundll32 ! Help needed!

Hey, im not good with computers and accidentaly deleted rundll32. Does anyone know where i can download this again completely free of charge because every site i try i have to register and pay to get it fixed. I really would appreciated help because i can't even open my control panel!Please Help me!

Hello Confussed and welcome to BC.

I'm going to assume you are using XP. If you have an XP CD you can Extract that file from there. Put your XP CD in the drive and go to Start>Run and type in:

sfc /scannow

Just like that with the space. XP will inspect the file system and correct or replace files as needed.

Thanks a lot. Only problem is my XP CD isnt in my house it is in my Aunts. I could wait until i go and get the cd off her next week or is there any other options? If there aren't it is not a problem and thanks agin for the help.

You can try running sfc /scannow without the CD. It might work.
