Hi avast free antivirus downloaded and using no problem my free trail period is over lost most of the stuff that was working do still keep or do i download something else.I have notice its not updating it self i try Manually get a error massage the license key invalid?

I am not aware of a trial period for the free version. Are you sure that you don't have the paid version?

Perhaps you just need to register for a further free 12 months licence:

Or download it again and then register.

Thanks petewills. I registered way back when I first installed Avast so that is likely why I have not experienced anything like aliboy66 mentioned.

Let's hope it is that simple.

It works well for me and I quite enjoy being told that my virus database has been updated!

The newest version allows you to install and register through the program's interface immediately afterwards rather than via email for a registration key.

Hi what i did when i downloaded avast i did not register,and had the paid version which has a trail period so i have uninstalled and reinstalled and registered and things are ok sorry :thumbsup: until next time
