Hi,

So I have kids who ruin discs easily and want to make backup of my DVDs, but they are copy protected so how do I do this?

I don't believe that this site will help you work around a copy protected DVD. I don't believe it's legal.

There is no easy answer here.
Making a copy of own CD, or DVD is legal, but to do so you must use some program, which will bypass copy protection.
Bypassing copy protection is illegal though, so we have a classic case of catch 22.
